Layers — it’s cooler in the mountains than in town; comfy shoes (trainers or hiking boots), a hat, sunscreen and water. For hot springs — swimwear and a towel. And of course a camera or phone: the shots will be worth it.
No special fitness needed. Tours are car transfers and short walks on trails, sometimes light trekking. Family-friendly; any age limits are noted on each tour’s card.
Up to 4 — that’s one car. For a larger party we add a second and keep the same format: a small group and the guide’s personal attention. The price is per group.
Day tours run 4 to 12 hours depending on the route. We usually set off early morning from your hotel in Bishkek or on the Issyk-Kul shore. Exact time and meeting point are agreed after booking.
The main season is May to October. Canyons and the Issyk-Kul shore are accessible almost year-round, while high-altitude lakes and passes open from late June, once the snow clears.
A small deposit secures the booking; the balance is paid on site before departure. We’ll agree a convenient payment method when confirming.
Basic motorcycle control is a must — routes include off-road sections, 40% to 80% by day. If your off-road experience is limited, take a shorter tour and tell us in advance: we’ll set the pace and help on the tricky bits. It’s not suitable for complete beginners without a licence and practice.
We ride prepped enduro bikes with protection and luggage — model confirmed at booking. You can bring your own if it’s off-road capable and in good order. Rental and bike details are arranged individually.
Yes — a valid category “A” licence. Bring your national or international driving licence; without it we can’t let you ride.
A guide leads the group with a support vehicle alongside: it carries the luggage, backs you up on hard sections and helps with breakdowns. We bring a first-aid kit, basic tools and spares, and keep satellite comms at altitude. We set the pace to the group — no rush.
